The Northern Lights universe
The Aurora Keeper
Every strain in the Official Cannabis network gets its own world. Northern Lights’ belongs to the Aurora Keeper: a calm, kind night watcher who keeps her lantern lit in a snowy clearing while the aurora ripples overhead.
Who the Aurora Keeper is
A grown woman in her sixties with fair skin, rosy cheeks and a long silver braid, the Aurora Keeper is the clearing’s calm, kind night watcher. She wears a thick midnight-navy wool coat, a teal knit scarf, a grey knit hat and lined boots, and she carries a brass lantern. She is in no hurry: she sits with the sky rather than chasing it, delighted when the lights come out and drowsy and content by the time they fade.
The world
A snowy clearing beside a small log cabin with one warm window, under ribbons of green aurora and lines of constellations, lit by lantern glow. The palette is aurora green, soft violet, midnight navy and lantern gold. The world takes its cue from the strain’s name, which Sensi Seeds says comes from the aurora borealis.1
